my new tail

it's the only place where i still have black fur left.

but the new haircut made it look like a worm.

i can still wag it faster than any dog has ever been able to wag his tail, ever.

okay, actually, it's kind of nice to have short hair in the heat we've been having.

but i know and you know that this is not the most attractive look for me.

my mom said i look like a little old lady when she thought i wasn't listening.

you'd never know i had pretty major surgery less than a week ago. i'm back to my usual napping self, hanging out on the couch and making my mother die with my cuteness.

i managed to get out of this in under an hour. i chewed through the valve so it was completely and totally useless. then, as an extra bonus, i found out it cost my folks 30 bucks.

i've been through five of these so far. this was my first one, just an hour after i got home from my surgery. luckily i don't really mess with my incision much, so ma and pa don't try to make me wear it all day - just when they can't watch me.
